Коллекция ячменя Всероссийского института генетических ресурсов растений имени Н.И. Вавилова (ВИР), являясь основным источником селекционного материала, в условиях резко континентального климата изучена недостаточно. Цель исследований – оценка адаптивности сортов ячменя коллекции ВИР для условий резко континентального климата.</p></sec><sec><title>Материал и методы</title><p>Материал и методы. Объектами исследований являлись 24 сорта ячменя коллекции ВИР различных центров селекции и регионов допуска РФ. В качестве стандарта использован сорт селекции Омского АНЦ ‘Омский 91’.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты и обсуждение</title><p>Результаты и обсуждение. Согласно генетическим паспортам по аллелям гордеин-кодирующих локусов у сортов ячменя, предоставленным Институтом общей генетики им. Н.И. Вавилова РАН, более 70% изученных сортов (‘Челябинский 99’, ‘Приазовский 9’, ‘Задел’, ‘Сокол’, ‘Зерноградский 584’, ‘Задонский 8’, ‘Хаджибей’, ‘Беатрис’, ‘Княжич’, ‘Зевс’ и ‘Казак’) являлись линейными по гордеин-кодирующим локусам. Рассчитаны гомеостатичность сортов, индекс стабильности и пластичность сорта. Определены меры интенсивности и селекционный дифференциал.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Согласно оценке адаптивности по сумме рангов (рассчитанной по перечисленным выше параметрам адаптивности), наиболее приспособлены для резко континентальных условий мономорфные сорта ‘Приазовский 9’ и ‘Челябинский 99’, а также не включенный в Государственный реестр селекционных достижений РФ сорт ‘Северянин’ (сумма рангов составила от 8 до 29). Адаптивность выделенных сортов подтверждена получением урожайных гибридных популяций выделенного адаптивного сорта ‘Челябинский 99’ с сортами селекции Омского АНЦ – ‘Омский 91’ и ‘Омский 95’. Полученные линии имели прибавку как по отношению к средней урожайности родительских сортов (+1,20 т/га), так и к урожайности лучшего родительского сорта (+0,76 т/га). </p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Background</title><p>Background. The barley collection at the N.I. Vavilov AllRussian Institute of Plant Genetic Resources (VIR), being the main source of source material for breeding, is insufficiently studied under conditions of extreme continental climate. The purpose of the research was to assess the adaptability of barley cultivars held by VIR to extreme continentality.</p></sec><sec><title>Material and methods</title><p>Material and methods. The research targets were 24 barley cultivars representing various breeding centers and tolerance regions of Russia. The cultivar ‘Omsky 91’ developed at Omsk Agrarian Scientific Center was used as the reference.</p></sec><sec><title>Results and discussion</title><p>Results and discussion. According to the genetic profiles for alleles of hordein-coding loci, provided by the Vavilov Institute of General Genetics, more than 70% of the studied barley cultivars (‘Chelyabinsky 99’, ‘Priazovsky 9’, ‘Zadel’, ‘Sokol’, ‘Zernogradsky 584’, ‘Zadonsky 8’, ‘Khadzhibey’, ‘Beatrice’, ‘Knyazhich’, ‘Zevs’, ‘Kazak’) were linear in their hordein-coding loci. The homeostasis of the cultivars, their stability indices and plasticity levels were calculated. Their intensity measures and selection differentials were determined.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. The adaptability assessment based on the sum of ranks (calculated using the abovementioned adaptability parameters) showed that the monomorphic cultivars ‘Priazovsky 9’ and ‘Chelyabinsky 99’ as well as cv. ‘Severyanin’ (not listed in the State Register for Selection Achievements) were most adapted to extreme continental climate conditions (sums of ranks ranged from 8 to 29). The adaptability of the identified cultivars was confirmed by high-yielding hybrid populations produced from crossing the selected adaptable cv. ‘Chelyabinsky 99’ with cvs. ‘Omsky 91’ and ‘Omsky 95’ released by Omsk Agrarian Scientific Center.
