Гуар (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba (L.) Taub.) – зернобобовое культурное растение тропического происхождения, получившее в последние годы беспрецедентную популярность благодаря наличию в его семенах камеди. Использование гуаровой камеди в добыче нефти и газа придает культуре стратегическое значение. Это послужило поводом для его интродукции в Российскую Федерацию (РФ) в начале ХХI века и активной селекции отечественных сортов. Востребованность коллекции гуара резко возросла, что послужило импульсом для ее активного изучения.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. Объектом исследования послужили выборки из коллекции гуара ВИР: 50 образцов в 2023 г. и 30 наиболее продуктивных из них в 2024 г. На Волгоградской опытной станции ВИР проводили фенотипирование образцов по 13 селекционно значимым признакам. Признак скороспелости определяли косвенными методами. Статистическую обработку результатов исследований выполняли с использование пакета программ Statistica 13.3.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Проведен анализ семенной продуктивности гуара – ее структуры и взаимосвязей определяющих ее признаков. Определены наиболее продуктивные образцы. На основе анализа ранее полученные данных об отношении образцов коллекции гуара к фотопериоду предложен модифицированный алгоритм определения фотопериодической чувствительности образцов как косвенного показателя их скороспелости.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Полученные данные об образцах коллекции гермоплазмы гуара ВИР при изучении в условиях РФ позволят результативно использовать ее в качестве исходного материала для создания отечественных сортов. </p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Background</title><p>Background. Guar (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba (L.) Taub.) is a leguminous crop plant of tropical origin that has gained unprecedented popularity in recent years due to the presence of gum in its seeds. The use of guar gum in the oil and gas industry gives the crop strategic importance. This was the reason for its introduction to the Russian Federation (RF) at the beginning of the 21st century and for the active breeding of domestic cultivars. The demand for the guar collection has increased dramatically, serving as an impetus for its active study.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. The materials of the study were guar accessions from the VIR collection: 50 accessions in 2023, and 30 most productive of them in 2024. The accessions were phenotyped for 13 traits important for breeding at Volgograd Experiment Station of VIR. The indicator of early maturity was assessed by indirect methods. Statistical processing of the research results was performed using the Statistica 13.3 software package.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. Seed productivity of guar accessions was analyzed, its structure and interrelations among its defining characteristics. Differentiation of the guar gene pool for the studied traits was revealed. The most productive accessions were identified. Previously obtained data on the relationship of guar collection accessions to the photoperiod served as a basis for proposing a modified algorithm for determining the photoperiod sensitivity of accessions as an indirect indicator of their earliness.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion.
